Hello my dear friends!
I always try to diversify the diet of my animals. August is a great time when our squirrels can get a wide variety of food. Unfortunately, as I said, our forest is now closed to the public due to mines. But the dogs and I decided not to give up. We got into our bus and drove off to the maximum safe distance, where there were no Russian troops. This means that the forest there is not mined and we could safely give birth along the forest paths and collect some gifts for our squirrels.
We also found some hazelnuts. We have a walnut tree in our garden. But, firstly, these are slightly different nuts, and, secondly, they are not yet ripe. Unripe walnuts contain a lot of iodine.
Squirrels also love tinder fungi. We found a few and I took them with me.
Meanwhile, the dogs were happy that they were finally in the woods and could run as much as they wanted. I hope that tonight they will sleep and have happy dreams.
