It's always interesting to observe how the relationships between my animals are formed. They definitely have sympathies and dislikes. Someone is friends with someone, and someone is constantly in conflict. It's normal.

But the situation becomes quite complicated when newcomers appear in the house. Sometimes it breaks the established system of relationships, forces it to be re-formed. This happened when in the fall we were brought two dogs evacuated from the war zone - Julie and Little Bowl.

Why Bowl? It's very simple. When I was asked if I would take her, I asked about her size. Every year it becomes more difficult for me to deal with large dogs. When they get sick, I just can't lift them up to put them in the car and take them to the vet. My own helplessness oppresses me. I decided that I would take only small dogs into the family.

So I asked what size it was. I was told it was the size of a bowl. That's how she became a Little Bowl.

Little Bowl adapted with great difficulty. She's quite conflicting. However, in six months everything has returned to normal. Her best friend was the Biscuit Seal. It's a lot of fun to watch their games. I must say that the Biscuit Seal is quite introverted, she prefers her own society, but she made an exception for Little Bowl. Perhaps Biscuit Seal realises that having lost her home, she really needs a friend.
