Hi, my dear Hive Gardners!
So the summer has come to an end. On Friday, autumn will take over the change of seasons. My garden is already gradually preparing for this. Almost all the flowers have already faded. Phloxes, a couple of roses and a lily are still kept, but this is more an exception than a rule. The apples are already gone. Soon the turn of pears and grapes will come, and at this garden season can be considered over.
Starting next week, I will gradually prepare the garden for winter. Someone might think that this is too early, but believe me, three autumn months is not so much. And the amount of work is quite large. It is necessary to do autumn processing of plants, cut roses, prepare everything for warming some plants. I will definitely have something to do!
Then it's time to remove the fallen leaves. Although I'm not sure about this, I'll probably leave it until spring. In addition, I will need to return to the house all the flowerpots with indoor plants that spent the summer outside. Given that I have only two free days a week, there is a lot of work to be done.
Next year I have to seriously think about redesigning my garden. I must admit that in the form in which it is now, I do not have time to care for it. This is such a sad truth. Most likely, I will minimize the area with ornamental plants, leaving the rest of the space for dogs to play.
