we've known we needed to act and change to avoid catastrophe for decades — but the key question is HOW? how do we act? how do we as individuals plug in and force change?

my theory is this: for those of us in democratic countries, we have to focus on getting money out of politics so that logic and science can define our policy conversations and dictate how businesses (and multinational corporations) are allowed to operate.

there are so many other important causes, none of them working together against this one main barrier to ALL the issues that matter to us and future generations: money and corporate profits have a stranglehold on legislative processes.

so:
Solving climate catastrophe means first bringing people and groups working on all the other awesome, important issues we can all pretty much easily agree on, and solving the corporate power barrier to true democracy (where logic and science [and compassion!] can truly and quickly change policy).
