Spain made another questionable performance at the World Cup after dramatic 2:2 draw against Morocco where Fernando Hierro’s men clawed an equalizer at the very end of the game. While Spanish were expected to cruise against Morocco, they struggled the most of the match. Khalid Boutaib scored an early opener for hard-working Morocco, soon equalized by Isco though. In the second half Spain had ever more problems while Morocco had more chances to suppress underperforming favorites. First Nordin Amrabat almost scored a stunner from the long-range but the ball smashed the woodwork. But then Youssef En-Nesyri rose above Sergio Ramos and headed ball past David de Gea after nicely taken corner. In the injury time sub Iago Aspas scored equalizer with superb flick to save – 2:2 is final result.
