World Cup re-writes itself day by day and is great. So here’s another new record was set on the 74th minute of Mexico vs. Sweden game when defender Edson Alvarez scored an own-goal. You say no big deal but it is – it was 7th own-goal of the tournament which is one more than 6 own-goals record set in 1998. So we have a big chance to see a bigger margin really soon.

Same evening Switzerland goalkeeper Yann Sommer scored an own-goal during the clash with Costa Rica (2:2) and historically became third goalie who past the ball behind himself at the World Cup game. Ouch!
