What's happening with crypto?

I remember at the beginning of the year, I had high hopes and excitement about the cryptomarket, especially STEEM and SBD...SBD was as high as 1 to 14USD last year,and I was optimistic that it would only get better.
SBD fell in the first week of January, but wwnt back up,making me still confident in it, but at dis point, I've got to be realistic, because its taking way too long for the market to recover.
I guess I'd have to pull out most of my investments , if not all, to meet up some necessities. I'm sure I'm not the only one in this position, invested most of my money and lost over 500%. This is a scary phase... Will cryprocurrency survive this dark phase?
