Most people don't think correctly.

'How do you know?'

Because we aren't taught how to think. We are taught what to think.

In school, we are given a curriculum. And told 'this is what matters.'

But in the real world, we have the chance to design our own curriculum.

That's when many get spooked out.

We all talk about wanting more freedom.

But freedom comes with a lot of baggage no one talks about.

'Like what bucko?'

Like having to manage your own time, schedule, emotions, workload etc.

In order to obtain freedom, you need to be able to lead yourself.

And in order to lead yourself, you need to know how to think.

'So how do you think buster?'

I think in terms of systems engineering principles.

At the core of it, isolated parts mean nothing.

But the RELATIONSHIPS between isolated parts form a system with practical purposes.

'So what does this look like?'

You ever had a bad decision come back to haunt you?

'Yea. Why was that?'

It's because that decision is a part of a bigger system.

'Which is?'

Your life.

A systems thinker understands that things are connected.

Your present day habits are creating your future. Make no mistake about that.

When you see the relationships of isolated components, you begin unlocking 4D thinking.

You see what others don't.

'How do I see these relationships?'

You amp up your creativity.

'How do i amp up my creativity?'

You multi task.

'What?? That's a bad thing though!'

Multitasking is bad when your strategy is wrong.
