[ESP/ENG] Sábado de Concierto y de Andar la Habana

Para la cantante pinareña Arlenys Rodríguez no debe ser cierta la frase de la canción de Carlos Gardel que dice que 20 años no es nada y de demostrarlo se encargó ella misma en el concierto homenaje tributado este sábado en el cine Yara de la Habana, capital de todos los cubanos.

Cuando los presentadores del popular programa de la Televisión Cubana Bárbara Sánchez Novoa y Marino Luzardo hicieron la presentación de la popular artista hicieron un recorrido por su amplia hoja de trabajo musical y se pudo comprobar que ha trabajado con excelentes exponentes del catálogo musical cubano que la sitúan, entre una de las intérpretes de mejor proyección escénica y técnica interpretativa del país.

Para tener una idea de lo anterior baste decir que ha compartido escenarios con la citada NG La Banda, Mario Limonta director de Azúcar Negra; El Niño y la Verdad, Joel Domínguez, Jesse Suárez, Mayito Rivera quien fuera cantante de Los Van Van el llamado tren de la música cubana. Ha realizado varias colaboraciones nacionales e internacionales y, en estos 20 años ha recibido numerosos reconocimientos, como resultado de su calidad y entrega a su trabajo.

De igual manera, se reconoció que uno de los temas interpretado por ella ha sido uno de los más vistos en la historia del audiovisual cubano y uno de los más populares en la vida de los Lucas, el programa del audiovisual cubano. Antes de entrar a la sede del concierto tuvimos que esperar durante varios minutos porque el número de personas que se concentró en el Cine Yara para el concierto de esta intérprete fue considerable.

En el concierto se hicieron varias iniciativas. Entre otras, podemos señalar la venta del disco Un bolero, este mismo fonograma fue obsequiado a 15 participantes en el concierto, como resultado de una rifa realizada, fueron reconocidas varias instituciones culturales que tuvieron que ver con el concierto y con el desarrollo musical de Arlenys.

Un momento importante fue escuchar cantar al ganador de un concurso que había lanzado la artista por redes sociales, consistente en un reto en el que los participantes debían grabar y enviar la interpretación de un tema musical.

Otro elemento que me gustó del concierto fue la empatía de la artista con el público. Ella se mostró tal cual es y despejada de toda la grandeza que su calidad profesional le proporciona. Eso fue agradecido por el público que al final de cada canción la ovacionó y le regaló todo su amor y su cariño de diferentes maneras.

Esto demuestra el alma generosa y pura de la artista que recordó en varios momentos su origen humilde y su via inicial por allá por la más occidental de las provincias cubanas.

Casualmente, el ganador fue de la provincia Pinar del Río, pero, lo que sí puedo aseverar es que la calidad interpretativa del mismo es incuestionable.

Otro momento importante fue cuando subieron al escenario importantes exponentes de la música cubana que han tenido que ver con Arlenys Rodríguez. Entre estas descollaron Mónica Mesa con quien compartió trabajo y escenarios en NG La Banda, el hijo de José Luis Cortés actual director de esa agrupación musical; el destacado trombonista Eduardo Sandoval, con quien Arlenys tiene varias colaboraciones musicales y Joel Domínguez, quien es un extraordinario músico del país y que actualmente es el director musical del grupo de Mónica Mesa, quien además, produjera y dirigiera el primer disco en solitario de la artista homenajeada.

El concierto terminó sobre las 11 de la noche, pero, antes del mismo visitamos un grupo de instalaciones que forman parte del Patrimonio de la Capital del país y que son reconocidos en el mundo entero. Estuvimos en el Grupo Hotelero Gran Caribe que agrupa varias instalaciones turísticas, entre las que destacan el Hotel Habana Libre. También visitamos La Cafetería La Rampa y el edificio donde residen las oficinas e instalaciones del Instituto Cubano de Radio y Televisión (ICRT) en los pasamos momentos agradables y conocimos, sobre la historia, funciones y características de cada uno de estos lugares.

Una reflexión final

Puede ser que para muchos esta intérprete no resulte conocida; tal vez algunos digan para qué escribir sobre algo que muchos no conocen, pero el objetivo no es ese.

Lo primero es rendir homenaje con mi presencia en el concierto a una intérprete que ha formado parte de la banda musical de parte de mi vida y con la que pude bailar, disfrutar y escuchar canciones. Lo segundo y no menos importante es para demostrar que la felicidad puede estar en cualquier parte y momentos como este te la pueden proporcionar.

No importa si eres joven, adulto, adolescente porque en ese concierto vi un arcoiris de personas, edades y la gran mayoría agradeció el concierto y cuando hubo que bailar bailaron y si teníamos que cantar lo hacíamos.

En medio de las dificultades que tenemos en nuestra vida diaria disfrutar de momentos como este sanan el alma y te dan soplos de vida. Solo me queda agradecer a mi esposa por comprar las entradas y hacerme este regalo de sábado, para reencontrarme con una de mis intérpretes favoritas y pasar un día diferente en su compañía y en un escenario diferente.

Before entering the concert venue we had to wait for several minutes because the number of people that gathered at the Cine Yara for the concert of this interpreter was considerable.

The concert ended around 11 pm, but before the concert we visited a group of facilities that are part of the heritage of the capital of the country and are recognized worldwide. We visited the Gran Caribe Hotel Group, which groups together several tourist facilities, including the Habana Libre Hotel. We also visited La Rampa Cafeteria and the building where the offices and facilities of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT) are located, where we spent pleasant moments and learned about the history, functions and characteristics of each of these places.

A final thought

It may be that for many this interpreter is not known; perhaps some will say why write about something that many do not know, but the objective is not that.

The first thing is to pay tribute with my presence at the concert to a performer who has been part of the musical band of part of my life and with whom I could dance, enjoy and listen to songs. The second and no less important is to demonstrate that happiness can be anywhere and moments like this can provide it.

It doesn't matter if you are young, adult, teenager because in that concert I saw a rainbow of people, ages and the vast majority appreciated the concert and when we had to dance they danced and if we had to sing we did it.

In the midst of the difficulties we have in our daily lives, enjoying moments like this heal the soul and give you breaths of life. It only remains for me to thank my wife for buying the tickets and giving me this Saturday gift, to meet again with one of my favorite performers and spend a different day in her company and in a different scenario.
