Dentro de esas entidades nacionales ayer 24 de julio le correspondió al Instituto de Geología y Paleontología/Servicio Geológico de Cuba. Este balance del semestre se hizo en la Empresa de Servicios del Petróleo de la República de Cuba perteneciente al Ministerio de Energía y Minas.
En el evento se hizo referencia a las principales deficiencias en el trabajo realizado y a los principales resultados alcanzados en los primeros seis meses del año.
Como director de Gestión del Conocimiento a este autor le correspondió exponer los principales logros en el semestre y es el objetivo esencial de esta publicación.

Dentro de las responsabilidades de mi área de trabajo está la de organizar los talleres y eventos científicos, divulgación del conocimiento científico y la ejecución de proyectos de investigación. A partir de estas tareas este autor presentó los principales logros de la dirección y el instituto en un video. En esta publicación mostraré los principales logros en imágenes que fueron tomadas con mi teléfono Samsung J. Para que tengan un sentido cronológico lo dejo por meses.
ENERO
dia de la ciencia cubana
La actividad fundamental de nuestro centro es la gestión de la actividad científica. Por tal razón "El Día de la Ciencia Cubana", es una fecha de una alta significación. Este día realizamos un taller científico titulado “La Gestión de la actividad científica en el Instituto de Geología y Paleontología y que terminó con la foto de los participantes y como fondo de la foto el principal resultado científico de nuestra institución que es el Mapa Geológico de Cuba, a escala 1:250000.
FEBRERO
en la feria internacional del libro
En el mes del amor nuestro instituto tiene una participación fundamental en la "Feria Internacional del Libro", en el que es miembro de la Cámara Cubana del Libro y un protagonista activo en la promoción de los principales materiales científicos. Por tal sentido amor y lectura se funden en un abrazo de febrero.
MARZO
homenaje a la mujer
En el mes dedicado a la mujer desarrollamos el taller "La Mujer en las Geociencias" que sirvió de pretexto para una actividad de agasajo y cultivar la ciencia.
ABRIL
x convencion de ciencias de la tierra
Desde el punto de vista de participación masiva en algún evento internacional este es el mes más importante, pues, cada dos años se convierte en un espacio en el que varios investigadores de Cuba y el mundo debaten sobre elementos relacionados con las Geociencias en “La Convención de Ciencias de la Tierra”, que este año realizó su décima edición. En este evento la mayor representación de investigadores nacionales corresponde a nuestro centro.
MAYO

En el mes de mayo nuestro instituto realizó varias actividades científicas, sin embargo, las que más resaltamos en el balance fueron “El Día Internacional de los Trabajadores” que este año tuvo características especiales y en la capital no hubo desfile general, sino por municipio y la** “Visita del Ministro de Energía y Minas a nuestro instituto”**. En ambas actividades la institución tuvo una participación protagónica.

Variadas fueron las actividades del mes, pero las actividades desarrolladas por “El Día del Medio Ambiente” y el "Fórum de Ciencia y Técnica" tuvieron el peso fundamental, a partir de las funciones y objetivos que tiene el Instituto de Geología y Paleontología que también es el Servicio Geológico.

This year is going by in leaps and bounds, or is it that when we pass the age of 50, time goes faster. Either way, almost seven months of 2023 have already gone by and several national centers are evaluating the work done in the first six months of the year.

Among these national entities, yesterday, July 24, it was the turn of the Institute of Geology and Paleontology/Cuban Geological Survey. This balance of the semester was made at the Empresa de Servicios del Petróleo de la República de Cuba belonging to the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
During the event, reference was made to the main deficiencies in the work carried out and the main results achieved in the first six months of the year.
As director of Knowledge Management, this author was in charge of presenting the main achievements in the semester, which is the main objective of this publication.

Among the responsibilities of my area of work is the organization of workshops and scientific events, dissemination of scientific knowledge and the execution of research projects. From these tasks this author presented the main achievements of the management and the institute in a video. JANUARY

The fundamental activity of our center is the management of scientific activity. For this reason **"Cuban Science Day" **is a date of great significance. On this day we held a scientific workshop entitled "Management of the scientific activity in the Institute of Geology and Paleontology, which ended with a photo of the participants and as a background of the photo the main scientific result of our institution, which is the Geological Map of Cuba, at scale 1:250000.

at the international book fair
In the month of love our institute has a fundamental participation in the "International Book Fair", in which it is a member of the Cuban Book Chamber and an active protagonist in the promotion of the main scientific materials. For this reason, love and reading merge in a February embrace.
MARCH

In the month dedicated to women we developed the workshop "Women in Geosciences" which served as a pretext for an activity to celebrate and cultivate science.
APRIL
the earth sciences convention
From the point of view of massive participation in an international event, this is the most important month, since every two years it becomes a space in which several researchers from Cuba and the world debate on elements related to Geosciences in "The Earth Sciences Convention", which this year held its tenth edition. In this event the largest representation of national researchers corresponds to our center.
MAY

In the month of May our institute carried out several scientific activities, however, the ones that stand out most in the balance were "International Workers' Day", which this year had special characteristics and in the capital there was no general parade, but by municipality, and the "Visit of the Minister of Energy and Mines to our institute".
