Una introducción necesaria
Reconozco que esta es la versión de las que he visto y analizado en la que más difícil me ha resultado dar un favorito. Los que me conocen saben que me gusta dar mis pronósticos y, aunque muchas veces me equivoco es un ejercicio de construcción deportiva que asumo con responsabilidad.
Serán 4 partidos intensos, de eso no tengo dudas y en cada uno de ellos los equipos, técnicos y jugadores pelearán con las armas que tienen a la mano, para intentar discutir el título deportivo del fútbol mundial más importante después de la Copa del Mundo.

En esta publicación el autor dará sus consideraciones en torno a cada uno de los partidos que se desarrollarán y como siempre dará sus pronósticos finales. Para hacer lo anterior tendrá en cuenta factores objetivos y subjetivos que muchas veces influyen y/o determinan en la decisión final de una eliminatoria.
A partir de lo anterior les dejo mis consideraciones
Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Se repite una de las semifinales de la temporada anterior, pero en condiciones diferente de localía, pues en aquella edición el Madrid abrió en el estadio del City y cerró en su Santiago Bernabéu, en el que escenificó las remontadas históricas de esa temporada. Hay dos elementos más que se asemejan a la temporada anterior y que aquí les pongo en contexto:
•En la temporada anterior el Real Madrid eliminó y ganó la final de la Liga de Campeones pasando en línea, por encima de tres equipos ingleses: Chelsea en Cuartos de Final, el City en Semifinales y al Liverpool en la Final y,
•El Real Madrid llegaba a la instancia posterior a la Fase de Grupos siendo el único equipo de Liga Española en mantenerse dentro de la competición.
Para esta temporada el partido vuelve a tornarse muy interesante, pero para muchos entendidos, especialistas y aficionados la balanza sí está a favor de un equipo. ¿Quién ganará esta semifinal y discutirá la gran final en Estambul, Turquía?
La gran mayoría de los especialistas dan al Manchester City como el mejor equipo de la competición y quien tiene las mejores armas para pasar a la final y ganar su primera Orejona. Es un equipo con una excelente defensa, un centro del campo que es prácticamente perfecto y un ataque demoledor. Muchas personas dirán que el City del año anterior tenía esto mismo. Puede ser, pero no tenían a Erling Haaland.

En días recientes se ha suscitado un debate interesante porque muchos han cuestionado a Pep Guardiola por cambiar su filosofía de juego basado en toques, salida del balón jugando desde el fondo y ese fútbol de transición que ha enamorado al mundo. Se le cuestiona porque ha adaptado su juego a Haaland y ahora hay más verticalidad, más balones lanzados al área de juego, para que el mejor delantero centro de la actualidad los convierta en gol.
Puede que en lo anterior muchos tengan razón, pero quizás Guardiola haya entendido que además del fútbol vistoso y lo que más le importe a la gente sea ganar. De hecho, es el único equipo de los cuatro que quedan en competencia que nunca ha levantado la Copa de la Liga de Campeones.
Le tocará al Madrid intentar derrumbar los pronósticos que dan al City como candidato a estar en la final y ganarla. Objetivamente el City está por encima del Madrid en lo competitivo y en la plantilla. Si nos llevamos por los resultados recientes de ambos equipos el Madrid ha recibido muchos goles y ha perdido partidos con equipos que tienen mucha menos pólvora e intensidad que el equipo inglés.

Cuando analizas el equipo blanco sólo es superior al City en la portería, pero con la defensa que está mostrando el equipo Merengue realmente muy poco podrá hacer Courtois si se presentan así frente al City.
De seguro, Ancelotti apostará por un centro del campo de más experiencia y contención intentando que ayuden a esa defensa que llegará tocada, al menos al partido de ida porque no tendrán a Militao ni a Mendy y es posible que Alaba no llegue recuperado o que llegue tocado y no pueda aportar lo suficiente.
Pero, siempre hay un pero, y en este caso estamos hablando del equipo que se transforma en este tipo de competición, que nunca se debe dar por muerto y que tratará de agenciarse una victoria que los coloque en la final y una vez allí luchar por la Orejona número 15.
Una cosa sí queda clara: el equipo que gane esta serie es el más fuerte candidato para ganar la final.
El favorito de la inmensa mayoría es el Manchester City.
Mi favorito es el Real Madrid.
Inter de Milán vs Milán AC

Este enfrentamiento garantiza que un equipo de la Serie A esté en la final y demuestra el buen momento que está viviendo la Liga de Italia después de muchos años sumida en los mismos resultados negativos.
Esta será una semifinal con dos equipos que se conocen bien y que, además de jugar en la misma liga lo hacen también en la misma ciudad. Es un duelo bastante parejo y, cuando usted revisa los resultados entre ambos en la liga italiana se percatará que hay una victoria para cada uno.
El Milán tiene la historia, el ser el equipo que más Liga de Campeones ha ganado después del Madrid y la experiencia de cómo afrontar este tipo de partidos. Tiene un equipo bastante ordenado con un rendimiento homogéneo en todos los aspectos del juego y que siendo fiel a su estilo ha logrado pasar por encima del mejor equipo de la Serie A y quien más punto le ha sacado al segundo lugar de su torneo doméstico.
Quizás los enfrentamientos contra el Napoli den una medida de la grandeza de este club y su conocimiento de los clubes italianos.
Por la otra parte está un equipo que tiene una plantilla de jugadores que representan de lo mejor que hay en sus selecciones nacionales. El Inter de Milán no es segundo de nadie y es de los equipos que han ganado tres Ligas de Campeones.
Cuando usted analiza la estructura del Inter se percata que al acostumbrado buen oficio defensivo de los equipos italianos se suma un ataque que produce y un centro del campo que abastece, organiza y también es productivo en la producción goleadora.
Por historia el favorito para muchos es el Milán.
Mi favorito es el Inter de Milán.

Puede ser que la final sea entre los equipos que he dado como favorito o entre los que no. Quizás tenga un acierto de un 50% y se enfrente uno de los que di como ganador y uno que dije iba a perder.
Lo que sí queda claro es que nos quedan cinco partidos muy buenos y en los que los 4 equipos involucrados lucharán por escribir su propia historia.

I admit that this is the version of those I have seen and analyzed in which it has been the most difficult for me to give a favorite. Those who know me know that I like to give my predictions and, although I am often wrong, it is an exercise in sports construction that I assume with responsibility.

This clash guarantees that a Serie A team will be in the final and demonstrates the good moment that the Italian League is experiencing after many years mired in the same negative results.
This will be a semi-final with two teams that know each other well and that, in addition to playing in the same league, also play in the same city. It is a fairly even duel and, when you review the results between the two in the Italian league, you will notice that there is a victory for each one.
Milan has the history, being the team that has won more Champions League after Madrid and the experience of how to face this kind of matches. They have a fairly tidy team with a consistent performance in all aspects of the game and being true to their style they have managed to get past the best team in Serie A and who have taken the most points from the second place team in their domestic tournament.
Perhaps the clashes against Napoli will give a measure of the greatness of this club and their knowledge of Italian clubs.
On the other side is a team that has a squad of players who represent some of the best there is in their national teams. Inter Milan is second to no one and is one of the teams that have won three Champions Leagues.
When you analyze Inter's structure you will notice that the usual good defensive skills of Italian teams are complemented by an attack that produces and a midfield that supplies, organizes and is also productive in goal scoring.
By history the favorite for many is Milan.
My favorite is Inter Milan.

The final may or may not be between the teams I have given as favorites. Maybe I am 50% right and one of the teams I gave as the winner and one I said would lose will face each other.
What is clear is that we have five very good games left and in which the 4 teams involved will fight to write their own history.
