Brighton 3-2 Manchester United: Jose Mourinho's side concede three in shambolic first half as Seagulls soar to three points at Amex Stadium.
What an afternoon for Brighton. A big win against a big team. They will talk about this in Sussex by the sea for a long time.
But what an afternoon for Manchester United, an afternoon to accept some new realities, to accept a new state of things.
This United team lacks authority, it has been worn away gradually in the post-Ferguson years. It does not have the presence that it should have given the players who wear the red shirt. As such, their opponents do not fear them. They respect them but that is not the same.
