Nothing in this world I love better than a hug to warm my heart.
Last night I briefly met one of the other tenants where my son lives who he sometimes babysits for. A single mum with a little boy. She was very friendly with a warm gentle feel to her, a very beautiful young indigenous woman and her little boy. Having my little morning stroll I like to take, helps me wake up. This family happen to be in the car park I wandered into, the young lady on the phone who I smiled and waved too and her little boy in the car now with his cousin. The two little boys seen me and the biggest smiles came to their cute little faces with a wave. They got excited so I spoke to them. One waved me over. When I got to the car he stood up out his seat and leaned out the window and made a gesture he wanted to touch my beard. I have no problem with that. I make a gesture putting my face out to allow him to touch it. He puts his little fingers in and gently tangles them in my beard. I say it's very soft he smiles and the other boy now comes to the window edge asking can he touch too. Now I have two little hands in my beard. The first one now takes his hand out my beard and moves on to touch my long hair. Grabbing it between his little fingers he starts at the top and runs his fingers just once down from top too the bottom. The first one now asks if he can smell me I say yes. With fingers still entangled in my beard, he gently pulls my face closer turning my head to the side tiny little nose touches my cheek and sniffs the side of my face. The other little boy indicates he would also like to do this." Of course you can." So he does. Now one on each side of my face in tandem, nostrils wide open coming for my face. Like little puppy dogs I see ones nostrils twitching and flair as he leans in with a big old sniff. They both pull away and smile. ( cutest moment I ever experienced ) Now I'm very close to the window. We all pull pull back they both look at each other, give me a big smile and reach out giving me a hug from each side. Mum is standing back watching. I look over and she can see just how much this has warmed my big old hardened heart. Feeling very blessed I got both their approval and acceptance. Was a vigorous and intense investigation I had to forgo to gain both their approval. I must have past for for them to both lean out hugging me in tandem. Mum now hops in the car I start to walk away with big rosy cheeks saying good by. I pick up one of their toys,I hand it back through the window. Waving them off like they are my very own family. Telling the boys to both be good for mum today, they waving back giving me big warm smiles. Both in tandem give me the thumbs up to my be good for mum comment. What a wonderful way to wake up today! I get the feeling my cheeks are going to hurt today cos I still have that big cheesy dumb looking grin with rosy cheeks on my face. That was all half hour ago. It is the little things that so many over look as not so important. Just be in the moment and some times if the moment is very sincere and special it will remain with you forever.
