The other day I sent my BLURT to ionomy and traded to BTC 👇
My Blurt Told Me I Had Money
But I couldn't withdraw BTC from ionomy because "Withdrawal Fee" for BTC is 0.00055000 BTC which is about $5. It is just too expensive to take out BTC!
So I decided to trade BTC.
BTC -> HIVE/STEEM
Go to BTC wallet and Order Type: "Market Order" then click "BUY".
Results
I got these tokens for 0.0001 BTC
- 3.66911765 HIVE
- 4.28510090 STEEM
Both transactions were done super fast and BTC was traded instantly.
Great! but what are the "Withdrawal Fees" 🤔
Only 1 (about 20 cents) for HIVE and STEEM
So these are the amounts I can withdraw.
- 3.66911765 - 1 = 2.66911765 HIVE
- 4.28510090 - 1 = 3.28510090 STEEM
Just click "SEND" to initiate a withdrawal process. After that confirmation message will show up.
Ionomy will send you a verification email to let you know that withdrawal has been processed and needed a confirmation, so once email is received, click "Verify Withdrawal".
But WTH is this?
The verification link will send you to ionomy site and this alert showed up saying that "Withdrawal was NOT verified!"?
Is this supposed to be "NOW" verified or something?! IDK Seriously...
But then it showed up in my wallet, safe and sound.

I did the same thing for STEEM, got the verification email.
Click verify and "NOT verified" alert shows up again and then came home to my wallet safely.
So that is just how it works I guess...
I don't care as long as it works and I didn't have to pay $5 to withdraw so that was great!
