Greetings from Malaysia !

Spotted this gigantic Stitch sculpture near Pavilion Shopping Mall, Kuala Lumpur! It’s part of a massive promo for the new Lilo & Stitch movie, which (according to Google ) was released on May 23, 2025.

Honestly, I haven’t had the chance to watch it yet — maybe I’ll wait for it to hit Netflix. These days, I don’t really have the luxury of cinema time anymore. I used to be a full-blown movie freak a few years back, but since getting married, priorities (and ticket prices , especially in Singapore!) have changed.

Still, seeing this huge Stitch brought back some great memories. And the best part? It really gave off some cheerful, feel-good vibes .

It doesn’t stop outside — once you step inside the mall, the ocean vibes continue!

Right at the stairs, you’re greeted with an eye-catching splash of blue waves flowing along the steps. It seriously felt like walking into the sea — such a creative touch!

And just when you think it’s over, there’s Stitch again! This time, he’s playfully peeking from the side as you make your way up the stairs — a cheeky little peek-a-boo .

Then, just at the entrance of the main atrium, you’ll find a playful Stitch statue cheerfully greeting visitors. With his mischievous grin and big ears, it’s like he’s saying “Aloha!” to everyone stepping into the scene.

It’s a great photo spot too — I saw plenty of families and friends capturing the moment. Whether you’re a Disney fan or just stumbling upon the display, it brings a smile to your face and adds a fun, whimsical touch to your mall visit.

There were plenty of family-friendly events happening during that time — the perfect opportunity for parents and kids to bond and have some fun together. From games to interactive setups, the whole atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement.

Of course, vendors didn’t miss the chance to jump in either. These kinds of promotions are not just for fun — they’re also designed to boost sales and attract crowds, and it definitely worked! Everywhere you looked, there were pop-up booths, themed merchandise, and tempting snacks ready to complete the experience. Am I right?

The crowd kept growing as the event went on. The MC was singing and playing along with the kids on stage — many of them there with their parents, enjoying the lively and cheerful atmosphere at the mall (if I’m not mistaken ).

Even though I didn’t directly join in the fun, I could still feel the “feel-good” vibes all around, and I just had to share that joy with you — yes, you, the one reading this!
