CONGRATULATION TO MY COUSIN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
Last Sunday , i have attending my cousin wedding day at my hometown . Growing up together , me was so close with all my cousin . Now almost everyone has already married and it was included him .
DUSUN TINDAL WEDDING CULTURE
Today i want to share a little bit about our traditional wedding culture . Some might same with other culture but some might be different
DUSUN is one of the large tribe in Sabah . It was originated from our place . But event we come from same root , which is DUSUN but we have different culture according to which sub-tribe we come from . Even our traditional outfit is different .

Usually , the preparation for the groom and bride will be done outside from their home . I think most of couple do the same thing . The unique thing about our culture , is the transport from preparation place to the house usually they ll use ,what we call "PERAHU" .
That "PERAHU" will be escort with motorbike and a truck with traditional music or know as "gong with kulintangan" . Then , those group will go around the village to let everyone know that the wedding is just been start.

When they arrive , the shooter will shoot gun on air to let everyone know the groom and the bride has come .
They ll then go around "the sipak manggis " 7 times . After the 7th round , the bride will throw the ball to the groom and with that " the sipak manggis" game can be start.

And 'The sipak mangis ' games begin .
The winner is the person who kick the ball and being hit to the sipak mangis . The reward is sometimes hamper and most of the time is money.
Then the couple will rest on their throne (they being called a day king and queen) .
The other event is almost same with other , where people will dance , eat , sing and celebrate the happy day .

It was raining at that time , but they say raining is a blessed from above so the future will become better and i believe it was true . Im so happy that finally he was married . I hope they ll happily ever after and being blessed with abundance life .
