Welcome to my Blog!
Faith entails our absolute and total confidence and trust in God. We need to always place our faith in God and not on man. Also, you need to exercise your faith because it is not just enough to say you have faith.
Verse 1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Verse 2: For by it the elders obtained a good report.
verse 3: Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
How do you exercise your faith?
Let's consider Abraham and Sarah, the promise God gave Abraham said that Abraham would be the Father of many nations and that through him, many would be blessed. This seemed impossibility in the eyes of many and even in the eyes of Sarah, considering the age of both Sarah and Abraham.
Howbeit, Abraham exercised his faith by believing and trusting that even in his old age, God could still give him a child and children. He's faith in God was still intact irrespective of what people around him were saying. Because of this, God's promise for him came to pass at the appointed time.
Abraham did get Isaac and thereafter the tribe of Israel. Even Jesus Christ came through the lineage of Abraham.
This shows that faith is the only means through which we can activate God's promises in our live. Little wonder the Bible records that without faith, it is impossible to please God.
Has God said anything concerning your life? Do not doubt or fear rather trust in Him, meditate on the prophecies and declarations. Even when it seems impossibilty, see and know that God cannot lie. Always exercise your faith.
Is there anything lacking in your life? Call on those things to come through prayers. Remember your words have power and your words are creative. Speak the word into every kind of situation and believe.
Your faith in God is what will give answers to your prayers and open doors of blessings for you. God bless you
