In life, many of us find it very difficult to give someone a second chance after having disagreements or mild conflicts. If in relationships, some go as far as quitting and divorcing their partners.
Yeah! I will not blame them because that is the nature of men who do not have personal encounters with God. A new man in Christ knows that to err is human and to forgive is divine. Forgiveness is the watchword.
God is not like man as such, His ways are different. He is a forgiving and merciful father; He is the God of a second chance. He is always willing to take us back anytime we come back to Him.
When man sinned against God, He did not just leave man to be punished by the devil. Although He chastised man, He sought for a way to give man a second chance.
This made Him to send to His only begotten son to come die for us, so that we might have a second chance to life and have salvation as well.
It will not be wise of you to misuse this opportunity and second chance afforded us. Run to Jesus today and be saved. Do not stay aloof any longer; your sins have been forgiven by the blood of Jesus.
You can now go boldly into the throne of grace to obtain mercy from God. Can you see how loving God our Father is? He has taught us to example to forgive. Do not bear grudges any longer, forgive those who err against you and follow peace with all men.
If do not forgive who offend or wrong you, remember, God will not forgive you your debts. Learn to forgive and forget.
Prayer
Thank you Jesus for giving us a second chance. Give us to grace to follow you step by step and do your will. Give to us a forgiving spirit.
