8 years ago this park was not like it is now, there has been a lot of development here, the name of this park is Amir Hamzah Park and the name is taken from one of the names of the National Heroes who came from the area. Amir Hamzah himself is one of the heroic figures who came from the area then because of his services to the country he was named one of the National Heroes and this monument was erected to commemorate his services. I went with my wife to this park again and when I was there there was a celebration of the city's anniversary so the situation was very crowded because there would be artists from the capital coming so many people gathered here, garbage was also scattered everywhere because the availability of trash cans was limited, or because our mentality was as thin as tissue. I don't know.
8 years ago Round stones and iron chairs there were no parks yet, it was still very beautiful without any polish and only the Amir Hamzah monument towered high, then many parents waited for their children to play from the monument. And here my initial story begins with a long unforgettable journey until now and this park is a memory Where my wife and I started the story.
Exactly eight years ago in this Amir Hamzah park there used to be a chicken noodle seller who used a cart with plastic chairs that he brought himself. And there I waited for an answer with anxious hope. Not an answer from a company where I applied for a job and not an answer like the title of a song that used to be famous in Indonesia but an answer that could take me to the future like now and you can definitely guess it. An answer from a woman who I used to marry and is now my wife.
And now this small park has transformed into a beautiful park with many polishes in some places and now it is getting more crowded with many play areas that are rented there so that every afternoon this park is full of people relaxing after work. And teenagers who are walking around or waiting for answers like I used to. But it is really unfortunate that a place as good as this is full of garbage because of the lack of public awareness. Although in the morning there will be officers who clean it, it still gives a dirty impression in a park that should be as good as this. but everything needs a process for that.
