There are many Decentralized Applications (dApps) built on Hive, and each of these dApps has its distinctive features over the others.
When I joined Hive, the numerous different Decentralized Applications were one thing that confused me. I gradually came to realize that they are merely front-ends, and you can access your activities from any of them.
Peakd was the first dApp I learned about, and because I had heard it wasn't free, someone else made an account on my behalf. I misplaced the account, which was the plot's twist. Then, a few months later, a buddy of mine introduced me to Ecency, and I learned that it was free.
I've been accessing Hive ever since utilizing Ecency, and I've grown to adore it. I enjoy the Ecency front-end in large part because there is no possibility of losing keys as I did with my first peakD account, and since it just stores one password.
Ecency is simpler to comprehend and utilize, which is the second main factor in my fondness for it. Compared to other Front-ends, Ecency is more colorful and simpler to use. One of the most alluring aspects of the Ecency platform is that it fosters the growth of new users by awarding them with Ecency Points, which can be applied to a variety of activities including boosting and promoting content.
Sincerely, I've never used the 3speak interface, but I've seen that it's primarily used for publishing movies, which are available on all Hive dApps.
As I was writing this, I felt the need to learn more about Liketu, which I did and found to be an excellent platform for publishing picture-heavy blogs similar to Instagram and other image-centric social media. I looked into Liketu and found that, like Instagram and other social media networks, it's a great location to post pictorial blog posts.
I wish I had more time to write on the themes provided, but I find it difficult to conduct thorough research and write as well as I once did.
