for everything

Ephesians 5:20 New International Version
20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank you Dad, because the fact of not having read yesterday and of course not doing my devotional led me to reflect and meditate I understood that I should not leave any gap to the enemy since he constantly returns to look for a crack through which to sneak.

I am defending myself from the enemy's attacks but neglecting the gaps that are left open and this is one, to stop doing my devotional even for a single day.

I understand that this is the way I can consolidate my spiritual growth, closing the gaps.

Thanks Dad, you have a teaching for me in everything, thank you.

** This short reflection is framed in a discipleship program that we are carrying out in our congregation; which consists of identifying, analyzing and applying one or more verses that have impacted you in daily reading.
This style of devotional is intended to maintain an experiential focus under the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit in our lives. **
