Griefs or Gifts? Your Decision.
1 Timothy 6:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

This word is addressed to me, no doubt, I perceive in this verse that you speak to me, Dad, and you say to me, "I am your God and not the money," "I am the one who provides and sustains you".
Wow Lord, who more than you to remind me that money is only a conventionalism, a symbology that represents the value and amount of our work effort in life or an inheritance we receive from our earthly parents, but never a substitute for you; thank you for speaking to me in such a diaphanous and forceful way.
So, that it remains for me but to obey what you say to me in your word, if I already understood that money is useful and important but so far nothing else, I will not steal, betray or kill for getting more money; and if the case may be, if you will present the occasion I am already warned that I will not go over you and the purpose you have in the community where I am to profit even though I crushed or misputed my leaders (who are your delegated authority at the time) to achieve my personal and selfish purpose.
How should I apply this teaching, good by simply telling myself always: Is this your will, that I do this to obtain money? Well, begging that your Holy Spirit will redeem me when I fall into the temptation to do something to obtain money without consulting you, Dad.

Esta palabra está dirigida a mí, sin duda, percibo en este versículo que me hablas Papá y me dices: “yo soy tu Dios y no el dinero”, “yo soy quien te provee y sustenta”.
Guao Señor, quien más que tú para recordarme que el dinero es solo un convencionalismo, una simbología que representa el valor y cuantía de nuestro esfuerzo laboral en la vida o una herencia que recibimos de nuestros padres terrenales, pero nunca un sustituto tuyo; gracias por hablarme de esta manera tan diáfana y contundente.
Entonces, que me queda a mi sino obedecer lo que me dices en tu palabra, si ya entendí que el dinero es útil e importante pero hasta ahí nada más, no voy a robar, traicionar o matar por obtener más dinero; y llegado el caso, si presentará la ocasión ya estoy advertido de que no voy a pasar por encima de ti y del propósito que tienes en la comunidad donde yo esté para lucrarme yo aunque aplasté o mal ponga a mis lideres (que son tu autoridad delegada en ese momento) para conseguir mi propósito personal y egoísta.
¿Cómo debo aplicar esta enseñanza?, bueno simplemente diciéndome a mí mismo siempre: ¿Es esta tu voluntad, que yo haga esto para obtener dinero? Y rogando que tu Santo Espíritu me redarguya cuando caiga en la tentación de hacer algo por obtener dinero sin consultarte Papá.
