The joy in my quiet life
The peace my soul needed
You led me back to Him
I waited for your condemnation
I waited for the stones
Desperately I wanted to doubt
I searched for my pessimism
They all went on break
To the depth of hades
You showed me colour
You redefined love
And now I know
Its no fluttering of butterflies
Its peace of mind
It's fierce decision
To always be at your side
To always want to make you smile
To weather the storms
Hand in hand
Never really letting go
I searched for so long
And now I search no more
My head on your shoulder
