On the 27th May was celebrated globally as children's day. It was a day set aside to celebrate the presence of the amazing gift given unto man. The gift of having a child.

Growing up in my local neighborhood then. Children's day was like a second birthday party for me because my parent would tell my older siblings to take me for shows where I could have fun and dance well with other kids my age. A popular show then was the one organized by the Delta Broadcasting Service D.B.S.
As a kid from my neighborhood if you didn't attend the D.B.S children's day show you have missed a lot because that's what all your classmates would be talking about in school for the rest of the week and the show was so much fun because it was broadcasted on the Television then.

Thinking about such memories and how they light up my childhood then makes me feel amazed at how wonderful life is. The concept of being a child is a very peaceful and fun memory that adulthood can not just understand because of the constant joy and happiness that a child possesses.

Being a child, we all wanted to grow up into becoming adults but now being adults we wish we can go back to our childhood to relive those fun times once more.

Adulthood will be better and enjoyable if we start having the hearts of kids and being grateful for the things we have rather than bothering about the things we don't have. The true happiness secret of kids is the ability to always be able to adapt to every situation around them and make fun memories of it no matter how little it is.
