Hello hivers hope are all having a grate day,when I way younger we use to play around the river bank area in other to catch a dragonfly
because dragonfly are mostly or commonly seen around a fresh water habitat
,and this has inspired me to write this short article about a dragonfly (palpopleura)
back then when we catch a dragonfly we always tie a tiny rope around the back then we release the dragonfly to fly around with the tiny rope in our hands,dragonfly is as friendly as anything,but someone who is not familiar with a dragonfly may be afraid maybe it bites or not, yes! Dragonflys bites but occasionally when he feels threatened and they do that to protect them self's, and their bites isn't dangerous he can hardly penetrate human skin,
Dragonfly are not an aggressive insect it is safe to touch dragonfly, one other important thing am going to be discoursing about the dragonfly in my village is that when a dragonfly comes around you or land on you bring about blessing and good omen it is seen to be good luck, there are so many spiritual believe attached to this wonderful insects, in a spiritual world if a dragonfly, appears to you in a dream or if it suddenly appears in your life its a sign of caution, there more to this wonderful insect but am only shearing few that I grew up to know, this insect has unique way of turning his head anticlockwise and clockwise he is indeed a special insect,
