Do you know why cme gaps play such an important role? I guess what I am asking is, does anybody know why they tend to get filled? I suppose it's just observation and that there isn't any fundamental reason that they should get filled.

I tend to agree with you on the low 9k support level. I still have a ladder at around 8.6k, but I think this should be about the range we should be looking at. I made a post about this 2 weeks ago as well:
