We have a road here that has many cherry trees and in spring it's like walking in a sea of flowers.
I wonder who planted them here, but whoever did that must have known how beautiful they would appear in spring. Of course you have to catch just the right time of the year to see this wonder as it only lasts for a couple of days (well weeks, but it is only some days when all of the trees are bursting with fresh flowers). This year it has been a bit later as we had a really cold April. But fortunately we had a spell of sunny days which made for a perfect combo!
