I haven't been able to write a new song in a while. This one just kind of came out while i was messing around with my guitar.

No one can see it as it hides
but every now and then it peeks
from the holes that make me weak

I find all my comfort in her
it breaks my heart she feels her so alone
a pain that's left her numb
with the things that were left undone
and a pain she cannot hide

There are so many who know
they carry with them pain that just won't go
and every time there's light
it just doesn't feel right
There is a pain they know
We all walk through shadows sometimes
We avoid the light
cause it's hard on our eyes
Sometimes there are moments
we can no longer disguise
We're in the shadows sometimes
