The one who thinks that in the Christian life the person is exempt from suffering and tears is deceived. We know that the life of Christ on earth was not easy, he was humiliated, rejected, mistreated and killed; Why think that the life of a Christian would not have its sufferings and struggles? Christians also suffer persecution, are rejected by the family, by the group of friends, are victims of jokes and have their personal problems like everyone else.
But the Christian has a joy that is much greater than all the sadness that can attack him. He has Jesus. This makes even in the midst of sadness, he is happy, because he knows that he is not alone, he knows that Jesus is on the side holding, he knows that all suffering is temporary and the victory that Jesus has prepared is great.
In the case of Jesus in our life, there will always be reasons to smile, with him in our life they become rich without having anything, because the wealth of the Christian is not in having a nice big house, a luxury car, it is not in the houses corrupt things, which will end when Jesus returns, the wealth of the Christian is in Jesus.
Jesus is the greatest treasure of a person's life, if he has something that we should want, it is to have Christ in our life. If we have Jesus, we have everything we need. There is no greater joy than knowing that we have a God taking care of us all the time and that he will not let us miss anything.
The people in Egypt seemed to have nothing, they walked through the desert, without food, without water, apparently alone. But they had God. God was with them and he fixed everything, gave food, gave water, made his presence visible through the cloud and the pillar of fire, God cared for them and God takes care of his people even today.
The Christian goes through many tribulations, yes, but he rejoices because he knows that they are essential for his spiritual growth. Jesus had the victory in his life rose, but first suffered, so it will be those who follow his way, victory, but first have to face suffering.
In the case of Christians, Christians are the happiest people in the world, because they can even go through difficult situations, but they will never be defeated by them, because their victory is already decreed, it is only strong, a matter of waiting.
