We may be the ones who prefer to occupy the chairs in the back of our churches, or those near the door to flee as soon as the service ends ...

It may be that at the time of the message, we are thinking about who should be listening to that word, or even if we are the ones who have a more busy life than the others to get involved in some ministry.
Maybe we are the ones who for so long have been in the same church, that there is really nothing new under the sun, and very little to learn. We have many years of believers and experience ...

Are we the ones in the back of the church? Are we the invisible ones of always we prefer the humility? Are we definitely dead?

Be practitioners of the word, and not just listeners, deceiving themselves.

He who hears the word, but does not put it into practice, is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes out and then forgets his appearance.
But the man who carefully observes the perfect law that brings freedom, and perseveres in the practice of that law, not forgetting what he heard but practicing it, will be happy in what he does. James 1: 22-25

To be one of the invisible is simply a deception, because the Christian life is radical: it is of the "doers". Listeners live the lie of seeing themselves in a reflection, without being or living the fullness of the work that God has prepared for us. Why do we listen if we are not going to hear the voice of God in his word? We are wrong that going to church, raising hands or doing acts of presence is being a Christian. But let's unmask ourselves: we are wrong ... and only hearing anything has remained in our hearts.

The attitude of "doer" is that of "looking attentively in the perfect law"; examining the interior and dying for the self at every moment, ruminating with his intelligence and letting the Spirit act to understand that which is inaccessible to human smallness.

It is the compromised and sacrificed attitude of "persevering" in what you heard and recognizing that God must do the work, abandoning himself to surrender himself in the hands of the Creator so that he can do the way he should be.

And "do not allow yourself to forget", if not, retain and reflect daily in your work, seeking to please the Lord and glorify him with your life.

Undoubtedly, the invisibility of the oidor is more comfortable. But we were not made for that. GOD gave us gifts, abilities, intelligence, resources, to put at your disposal and be great doers and blessed.
Let's be radical and visible believers. Let's live the kingdom!
