Id: behold, I command you as lambs by means of wolves.
And no light bag, no saddlebag, no sandals: no one will go out on the road.
And in any house that I enter, first say: Peace be in this house. Gospel of Luke 10: 3-4-5.
Because God is not God of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. I to Corinthians 14:33.
If we observe the Letters that were sent to the Churches and servants of God, the Apostle Paul always had words of encouragement. As much as children of God, leaders and the whole Church, when we arrive anywhere, our words must be words of encouragement: Healthy and comforting. Let's see his entry for how the Romans:
"To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called saints: Grace and peace from God, our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ" Romans 1: 7.
In times of turbulence, disorder, lack of confidence, these are words that millions of people on earth want to hear.
He continues:
"First, I thank my God for Jesus Christ, for all of you, because your faith is announced throughout the world." Verse 8.
Paul's intervention, by base, was to announce the Good News, but he valued those who had already experienced the love of God and mainly his traveling companions. In all his letters, sent to the churches, Paul began by wishing peace to all Christians. Communion, love and support are vital elements for the Church and the life of the brothers.
THE LACK OF PEACE.
In the world, wars and rumors of wars, more than forty armed conflicts are moving across the surface of the Globe. Concerns in the Middle East: Israel, Jerusalem ... Insecurity in our towns and cities. Schools, etc.
But it is important to also raise the question:
Is there peace in our homes? In our heart? In the Church between brothers? What we learn is that if two agree on earth, it will be connected in heaven.
The Prophet Isaiah left a warning message:
"But the Immens have no peace, says the Lord." Isaiah 48:22.
Why? God's answer is clear. He spoke through the Prophet Hosea saying:
"For they sowed winds and reap storms: there are no mushrooms: the grass will not give flour: if it is given, foreigners will swallow it up: Israel was devoured: now, it is among the nations as a thing in which no one has pleasure." Hosea 8: 7 .
The reason why people walk disorderly is the result of their disobedience. Of the non-recognition of its Creator. He made reference to his wrong choices:
"He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains." Gospel of John 3:36.
The refusal to accept the Word of God as the only solution for lives has contributed to the man, in this state of rebellion against God, being away from his Creator.
As for the occult practices: the horoscope, astrology, spiritism, games and now the Blue Whale, is to put your life under the power of the Devil: enemy of God and enemy of peace.
Miserably resort to all means: Fire to responsibilities. Disordered measurements, pleasures, alcohol and drugs and others such as Yoga.
But the PEACE OF CHRIST ... GLORY TO OUR LORD
Juan exhorts: it is a refuge for those who trust
"Do not let your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me." Gospel of John 14: 1.
"Come to me, all who are weary and oppressed, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28.
"I leave you peace, my peace I give to you: I will not give it to you as the world gives it, do not let your heart be troubled or be afraid." John 14:27.
The world deceives by offering disordered enjoyment, but the end is always surprising: pleasures that lead to suffering.
Jesus is the only source that satisfies: peace and grace. Peace that He himself enjoyed.
The Peace of Christ is a gift from heaven that shares three of three important aspects of our identity with Him:
Our past: Our sins were forgiven. We have been washed and purified in his blood, becoming new creatures.
Present: We are children of God, reconciled. Jesus became the friend who accompanies us every day. He is also our well-present refuge.
Our future: Paul states:
"Therefore, now, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." Romans 8: 1.
