Greetings dear parishioners, believe that God will restore your dreams! If you have not found motivation to live, it may be because your dreams did not come true and you do not know more if you believe in them. But, please, do not lose your faith. Believe that God is going to restore your marriage, your family, your life, your plans, in short, everything you have lost! The Bible is full of examples of people who had their dreams restored by God, why could not the same thing happen to you?
We all face difficult times that never seem to come to an end. But even if we lose everything in life, we can never lose our faith and hope. We must believe that the creator God of heaven and earth is in control of everything and that He rewards those who persevere to the end.
If you are fighting every day against discouragement and have not found motivation to live, perhaps it is because your dreams did not come true and you do not know more if you believe in them, or because you turned away from God and now you do not have the strength to return to being as before. But if you stop focusing on what has gone wrong, and cry out to God for mercy, I'm sure He hears your prayers and will restore your dreams.
The Bible tells about a man named Samson. He was consecrated to God from the womb of his mother and had an unusual strength, in which no one could stop him. He easily defeated his enemies and did impossible things for an ordinary person, like tearing a lion in the middle and defeating only an army of a thousand men (Judges 14: 6; 15: 14,15).
All this because God was with him! His strength came from his hair and he seemed invincible, until one day he fell in love with a woman named Delilah. Then the Philistines, who were enemies of the people of God, heard about it and offered a large amount of money for her to discover where Samson's power came from. She accepted that proposal and began to harass Samson many times, until finally, he revealed his secret.
Delilah, then, told the Philistines, and one day, while Samson slept on his knees, a man came and cut off his seven braids. Upon awakening, Samson discovered that he had lost the power of God, because he had no more strength. Then the Philistines seized him, blinded him and took him prisoner. For a long time he was humiliated, but suddenly a hope began to emerge! See what the Bible says:
"The Philistines seized him, beat his eyes and took him to Gaza, seized him with brass wives, and set him spinning a mill in the prison, but as soon as the hair on his head began to grow again" (Judges 16: 21,22)
That is, when everything seemed lost, Samson's hair grew back! This means that the mercy of God came upon him again and renewed his strength. So also, if you seek the Lord, He will do the impossible for you and there is nothing and no one who can stop you from acting. So do not let hard times steal your faith and hope. Cry out to God for a restoration and dream again. You will discover that God dreams with you!
