Christians are biased to forget the wonderful way God has brought us to this world. Small conflicts are capable of making members of the same community forget that. The biblical passage in 1 Corinthians 1 shows that the church in Corinth was in crisis, people related to each other in a divisive way and not in God's way.

The Church is a place of transformation. The intention of Paul's letter is just to resolve the annoyances of the brothers. It is necessary to live in peace with one another so that the church is sanctified. The will of God for His children is that they live in union and not in crisis.

The letter of Paul brings to mind the blessings granted by God. The apostle reminds the brothers that God is the source of grace and emphasizes the truth that it is God who gives everything to his children and it is he who will maintain it. That is, everything comes from the Lord, he leads and keeps us firm in his purposes.

In our life it happens in the same way. When we have to deal with a problem, we must first remember what is good, recall the Source, what we really should value. Thus, it will be easier to solve the challenges and maintain the purposes. Many people fight to win the fight; Paul does not, he defends the love for the brothers and the purposes of God. The true reason for the letter is to reaffirm God's covenant with the brothers of that church.

What happened in the Corinthian church and remains these days is a change in the focus of God's centrality on the centrality of personalities. The integrality of life must be centralized in the grace of God, which will restore the community. The point that must unite Christians is exactly the cross of Christ. They were incapable of anything, but the cross can remind us that Jesus brought restoration and training to operate any work.

It is from the cross that we have the ability to relate to the Father and to each other. Jesus must be the greatest reason to be inserted in the community of faith. When you have that awareness, there is no reason for discussions and divisions.
