If dry skin ...Warm bath followed by application of Vaseline
Apply cold or cool agents like camphor
Identify and avoid irritants that exacerbate pruritus
Keep nail short .
Leave pruritic area open to the air if possible
Use non allergic mild soap and use limited .
Provide distraction techniques such as music , television or massage etc.
