While many eyes are turned towards Russia, whether it is for the FIFA world cup or because of all sorts of political shenanigans in the news, I have fond thoughts of my trips over there. It is a rich country in terms of art, literature, history and of course architecture. This is a shot of Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral inside the Peter and Paul Fortress in Saint Petersburg. It is the resting place of the Romanov imperial family, from Peter the Great to Nicholas II.
