MAYDAY
Finally some heat, weather hasn’t been as expected early may in New York. I got lucky, May 1st and its almost 90 degrees plus I just got my new 56 mm 1.2 lens I wanted to test out. A quick walk to Washington Square Park in NYC was perfect testing grounds.

Looking down at my #FUJIXT20 scree, I fell immediately in love, the amount of detail was stunning and colors were vibrant. Walking into the park I noticed crowds and chants. At a distance I hear drums, whistles, as a I get closer to the center of the park, the drum beat becomes heavier.

Different ethnicities are united, protesting together against injustices. As I walked through the crowds I noticed a lot of different emotions. People chants were strong and enraged and others were overwhelmingly happy.

The smiles were contagious, the emotions they felt; I felt. I understood the frustration and was part of it.
