Study has made us understand that the nature of human being is running away from the truth whenever it's not in their favour which is one of the reason why they just follow blindly without questioning because they'll always want to put blame the people they follow. Taking a nation for example, people will always blame the government for one thing or another and they are definitely doing the same thing they are blaming the govt for in their various homes. This is more or less like saying you're not who you are based on the fact that you're trying to run away from your own responsibility.
