The Resilovo Monastery "Protection of the Mother of God" is located at the northwestern foot of Rila Mountain, about 1.5 km southeast of the village of Resilovo. The turnoff is marked and starts about 6 km after leaving Dupnitsa and passing the village of Resilovo on the right.

The monastery was founded in the XX century (1932). In the beginning, Abbess Pelargia and the sisters Claudia, Seraphim, Xenia, Evdokia, Tatiana settled. They lived in a small outbuilding on the hillside, of which only the foundations have been preserved today. History is scarce, but in the area of the monastery were found the remains of the so-called "Roman slabs", which were used in the early Middle Ages for flooring and ornamental masonry of temples.

It was expanded and renovated in 1995, when impressive residential buildings were built. It is a complex of church, residential and farm buildings. Nearby are a holy spring and a chapel of the Holy Spirit.
The monastery is a permanent nunnery. The temple holiday is celebrated on October 1.
