Here recently at our tiny house property we had a severe storm that knocked down a large tree ontop of our underground shelter porch roof.
As you can see in this photo, the tree hit the roof with such force that it broke the tree into many pieces that fell to the ground.
The better and heavier part of the tree is still on top of the roof and is too heavy to move by myself. The end roof rafter took most of the blow and cracked the rafter some; but, not beyond repair thankfully!
The tree did do some damage to the metal at the end of the roof, but only this is the only damage it has caused.
All in all, we were blessed that this did not end up in a total disaster! I could have lost the whole roof by the fall of this large tree... and this was another tinyhousecryptos adventures on our Tennessee Hilltop!
