My weekend was pretty full on, Saturday we had the full opening of my bosses new car showroom called "V8 FastLane" after spending a full day there talking to potential customers in convincing them, which new big boy toy they should buy or have restored, I tell you I was happy to see the end of the day but I must say it was a good day for sales, well for the boss anyway, I made my commission on a couple of sales that I made, I managed to sell a Camaro 69 model and a Ducati bike, so I was entitled to a little celebration for myself, I decided to take myself back to Koh Larn Island seeing that I had such a enjoyable time over there last time, so here I was heading back to this paradise island.

I was up Sunday morning early had a good energizing breakfast grabbed my sunglasses, cap and sunblock and made my way out the door jumped on one of them bath bus which took me close to the Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya, and made the 9am ferry for Koh Larn Island, the ferry cost is $1 US dollar and Truck Taxi ( Bath Bus ) was 30 cent, within the hour, I was back on Koh Larn Island but this time, I chose to go to the main beach of Koh Larn called Tien Beach.

After marking my way along the Nabaan Pier walkway, I entered Tien Beach Road, which is lined with small cute resorts, hotels, coffee shops, restaurants and souvenir shops even has a 7- Eleven store on this beach, been the main beach it is a little more upscale than all the other beaches on the island but still, has that flavor of Thailand.

Having vendors on the island really delighted me because, I am one who loves street food not saying that, I am a cheap charlie but because, I find the street food a lot fresher and more tasty all cooked and prepared in front of you and I would rather street food at the moment cause restaurants are not as busy having no tourist in the country, so you do not know how old the food could be and why pay triple the price and maybe end up with food poisoning so it's street vendors for me and I love that stick food.

Koh Larn Island normally gets more crowded then the other beaches, but there is still room for everyone on this 2km stretch of white powdery sandy beach and the waters been clear and blue as it doesn't get any better, it's a all year round beach, with fluctuation of tourist from season to season but at the moment you can see the beach is quite with still no tourist allowed into the country, it is a sad case to see all these beautiful beach cafes and restaurants to be so empty all you see is the local Thai people coming here at the moment, I only saw a handful of foreigners, felt so sad for these Thai business owners but they are still making a effort to keep there smile and hospitality.

The Sand Bar was a great place for a fruit smoothie.

There were so many cute colorful resorts by the beach with direct beach views and can you imagine seeing the sunset from these hotel balcony's how romantic would that be, I need to come and spend a weekend here, they are all at bargain prices right now less then half price from luxury to standard a budget for everyone starting from $60 US to as low as $15 US per/night.

I like the set up of Tien Beach, although it is the biggest and busiest beach, it might not be to everyone's liking but it can be a fun beach with all the activities available on this beach makes a great family beach but then, if you like that quietness and tranquil beach you can walk to the other end of Tien beach and you will find another smaller beach there called Thonalana Beach which is much quieter and beautiful also.

As I continue my walk along Tien Beach Round to Thonalana Beach, I stop for a Pad Thai with chicken from a street vendor which cost me $4 US dollars with a ice tea, I sat on one of the beach tables enjoying the breeze and the views and shared a little bit of chicken with a stray dog who then followed me along the beach acting friendly like a tourist guide, maybe he was a tourist guide in his last life because he stayed with me for the duration of my walk to the other side of Thonalana beach over the rocks and he was actually good company it was only the dog and me over this side of the island far from Tien Beach.

I was really enjoying the peacefulness walking along this part of the island with my new friend the tourist guide dog we were climbing rocks trotting through the clear waters every now and then, I would stop to observe the views and the amazing rock formations which were in so many shapes, forms and colors some of these rocks, I had never seen before, was a real experience to see so many different forms of rocks.

I was having such a good time with my new friend the dog that, I had lost track of time by the time, I looked down at my watch, I knew my day was coming to a end and I was far from the pier, I needed to head back to catch the last boat from the pier leaving at 5pm and it was already 4pm, I needed to make a quick hike back to the pier before, I would be stranded on this beautiful island which, I would not have minded anyways, so it was back climbing over the rocks with my friend the dog the blue sky was fading away but it was still humid and warm.

I made it back to Tien Beach Road near the pier bought my friend the dog a piece of chicken from a street vendor for his guidance and company said goodbye to him, till we meet again and I was back on the pier on time for the boat back to Pattaya city another perfect day spend on this paradise island Koh Larn.
