One of my most favorite beaches on Phuket island, is Kata Beach, it reminds me of the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia with it's 1.5 kilometer stretch of white powdery sand and shinning blue waters, it is also a great beach for surfing, it is on this beach in Phuket that they hosts a surf competition once a year because of the amazing waves on Kata beach and with this amazing island in the center of the beach makes the sunset photos even more picturesque.
Nai Harn Beach is a beautiful beach tucked in between beautiful lush green mountains in a bay, it has one big resort built into the mountains and nothing else can be built on this beach which makes it more of a quite private beach it has that small village atmosphere great for relaxing and enjoying them sensational sunsets.
Patong Beach is the most visited beach on Phuket Island, the reason being it's the most convenient for foreigners traveling here, it's a beach that's in the town center of Patong town close to accommodation, restaurants and shopping malls so foreigners are centered around everything and have a beautiful beach in walking distance to either sit around on the beach or dine at a seaside restaurant enjoying spectacular sunsets.
