Another of our many memorable weekends with my girlfriend and myself we took of on another one of our "No Destination Weekend", as we called them no plans where we were going to end up, no hotel bookings but always carried our tent with us just in case we had to park ourselves on a beach that was the whole fun of our "No Destination Weekend" just surprise ourselves at where we were going to end up parking ourselves.

This particular weekend we were driving along the Pacific Highway heading north, reaching the crest of the hill we could see in front of us a long stretch of beach sand, we had already been on the road for five hours we didn't want to be driving much longer as it would shorten our fun weekend and we needed a dip in the ocean to cool us down been a hot day, so did a right turn at the next sign saying Lennox Head Town 20km just perfect in, no matter of time we were booked into the The Point Cafe Lennox Head right next to the beach. Throw our little luggage of what we had in the room we travel light and straight in to that sparkling ocean for a dip and a body surf, the day still had a few hours of daylight so we took a walk along the beach to stretch the legs and then back to our room for a shower and an late afternoon lunch we could see the local board surfers coming out for there afternoon surf into the sunset and what a stunning afternoon it was turning out to be clear sky, warm sun with a nice breeze and we were looking forward to that gorgeous sunset to unfold from our view point cafe balcony.
Lennox Head Town is along the north coast of NSW, Australia, it's a very beautiful lush green, perfect seaside town with a population of less then 8,000 people all very friendly and laidback people it was the perfect "No Destination Weekend" getaway with the most amazing stretch of white beach sand. Lennox Beach, is well know for the best surf breaks, it's great golden beaches and the tranquil lakes, a town that has it all with classic waterfront pubs, restaurants and cafes a little paradise town, that you would want to live and retire in, so glad we pulled into this breathtaking gorgeous town.
