TV is dying, but it will last for a while. It'll still take time. Now, many have this notion that people on the left are just going to convert to the right when this happens. People on the left have platforms on social media as well. In fact a lot of the outrage that I know you have seen has been people on the left repeating something that's trending on social media. In addition, to it not changing the ideology of people currently; members of television media will most certainly cut deals with Twitter and Facebook. They are intelligent, do you think they are just going to say, "We can't do anything, you've won! Darn it!" No. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and the internet in general will be swarmed to a degree of intensity that is shocking to imagine by professionals who will make deals that'll make the only refuge for most Americans turn biased. That will be worse than it is now. Much worse. Now, you can ignore them but, soon websites that most Americans use throughout the day and consistently for social interactions will be filled with left-wing propaganda. They're already employing things such as the "Fake News" filter on websites that shut down conservative voices in favor for liberal ones.
The easiest way to control people is with the Politically Correct schema. They're not on the internet now because, TV can still be milked. So, why abandon it while your competitors could stay on and have the market? Again, the transition from TV to internet as a main source of income for these companies will be the biggest operation of propaganda that the world has ever seen. The internet, it can't be stressed enough how much exploitable power it has when this phase commences. For example, you go to check on a birthday that your cousin has with the use of social media and you have a campaign on-going for transgendered rights. Would this happen in the TV era, would you have been exposed then? No, you didn't need to go on TV to find out how your cousin is doing! Many can't escape the internet for their social interactions! Propaganda is going to be everywhere! Why wouldn't they? People can not be taught out of this. Conservatives do not listen to liberals and liberals to not listen to conservatives. Multi-million dollar corporations who are too smart to make the mistake of "oops!, failing!" are going to dip their hands in the technologically-connected social structure of our country and make more liberals.
If you think this isn't going to happen. That the elite class of liberals don't have a plan when everyone regardless of ideology KNOWS THAT TV WILL FAIL IN THE FUTURE then, you're are naïve. What could possibly be done? Who knows but, to dream this delusional reality of no more liberals and rich CEOs and globalists doing nothing but, sitting on their hands and teeth grinding at the powerful internet...that is ridiculous.
