i love this question, most people that are willing to help dont know how to help , for me the best way to help someone is to try at your possible best to meet their needs.

if you specifically say the best way to help people is to give them money or food or care, anything at all you be sentimental.

why i said you will be sentimental is that, the answer will not favour everyone generally, you can talk from your experience or geographical context.

but you should remember that what you lack in your on geographical context is abundant in another place which they do not need.

if you want to help me as a Nigerian you can just give me invitation to the United state of America, or you can just give me some dollars, sincerely by doing so you have help me alot.

as i have said, the above help might not be an help to someone in the United States because he doesn't have to struggle for visa from America to Nigeria here.

so if you really want to help someone, look for their needs, some helps are just like giving bread to bakery owner, it will not add to the person life.

how can we know people's need, this is now the most difficult part of it , before we can know people's need we have to be sensitive.

some people will come to you for money, meanwhile their problem is not money, what they need sometimes is information.

example of what i have said here is me and a friend before i joined this community, i was in a difficult situation and a lot of debts to pay.

on a faithful morning my friend called me and told me he has been trying to get into with me so as to discuss this platform with me.

he is aware of my needs so he didn't send me money, but better still he tried as much as possible to pass an information that can meet my needs.

because if he give me money i will spend it, and it will work in a short while but it won't work for long .

another means of how to know people's need so as to help them in a best way is to PUT YOURSELF IN THEIR SHOE, this is a formula of peace on earth.

if you always put yourself in other people's shoe you will be able to meet their need and understand their problems.
