Even if they look like Terminators. Should be ready later this week.

I got this one ready yesterday and just need to do the wooden base and then get it on display in the gallery window. It's fun to be making these smaller ones as they are quicker to make and consequently

I may also have been listening a lot to Ghost. Let's name him... Mephisto. Number 2 in the Alter Ego series. Might be finished tomorrow evening.

I spent this past month working on stairway railings and window frames for clients and before I start on this year's final order, I thought I'd clean up the workplace and get cracking on another small

Managed to get this one finished today. I'm planning on making a series of these called 'Alter Ego'. They're smaller than my normal sculptures and also a bit more affordable. This one was going to be 'Scarlet

In between 2 clients I have a few days to start on something new and I've been meaning for some time to also make smaller, perhaps more affordable sculptures. In the past I made a lot of wall-mounted masks

I got the pleasant news the other day that - in that other series of sculptures I make, called Roboville - little Björn was adopted. In this case we don't speak of sale but of adoption. :) All Roboville

Sculpture number 6 of 2018. Meet Felix. Mild steel and copper, lifesize and with a rather interesting green patina. Felix will go to the Naïa Museum in France next week. I've impressed myself. I usually

With the Dreamscapes exhibition in Hasselt over, I went to pick up Cordelia and Nezera. They have now joined Ash in my own gallery for the time being. I'll probably be taking Nezera with me to the Naïa

I'll be attending a little get together at the Naïa Museum in Rochefort-en-Terre, France, in a couple of weeks. I've been working with them for the past 4 years but never managed to visit. Now on sunday

And another one joins our Asylum. Meet Robynn. Mild steel and one copper eye. Life size. The colour takes a bit of getting used to. First time I'm using red but I like it. Also, the hair... I may have

At this point the sculpture should have a name but I haven't decided yet, as I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this. I never really start with a sketch. I start with an idea and as the sculpture grows,

OK, let's see if I can keep this up, posting here. I realise I've already forgotten about updating Twitter again... :) Anyway, work has started on another sculpture. I'm keeping it a bit more simple this

I had reserved 4 weeks in July and August to work on new sculptures. Notice the plural here. However, 'Ash' became a bit more complex and grew from just a bust to an almost complete figure. Once I added

Introducing Cordelia... #3/2018 Mild steel + brass + wrought iron Life size

With the Dreamscapes exhibition in Traun, Austria, over, 'Kara' and 'Nezera' have returned home. (left to right: 'Delphine', 'Nezera' and 'Kara') Not for long though, as 'Kara' and 'Delphine' will travel

I have finaly found some time to get started on a new sculpture. With a full work schedule and more creeping in, it's a bit hard, but once the wireframe is done I can add bits when I have a few hours to

Pictures don't always do a sculpture justice and it's often interesting to see it from different angles. Instead of taking numerous photos, I sometimes made a little video with my phone. However, filming

I managed to finish 'Delphine' today. Up untill the last moment, I did not know exactly what to do with the head. Keep it simple, make it more elaborate? In the end, it kind of made sense to add some hair

Keeping my promise to make more art this year, I have started on a new piece. This time, not a warrior, but a more feminine creature. I'm not one to work with sketches. I usually have a general idea of
