Another old Impy comic. Impy is, or rather was an agent and instrument of revolution. A force of creative chaos and an upender of the status quo. At the time, I was heavily influenced by the idea that

Wherever you go, there you are.

My favourite jobs are the ones where the client gives me full reign, creatively. I produced this digital image with the understanding that I'd use it to produce a watercolor painting for the show I was

I think out of all of the Impy strips I did back in the day, this one remains a favourite. I believe I was thinking about the ultimate futility and frustration that can result in paying TOO much attention

Here's a little guy that's been kicking around the studio. I think I was considering doing some miniature paintings, but decided against it.

Y'all seem to be enjoying Impy, so here's another one!

More Impy!

I used to do this really abstract silent comic called 'Impy'. I'm feeling like I might revisit it... Impy is sort of a genie/trickster who lives in what I thought of as a kind of sub dimensional crawlspace

One of the coolest gigs I've ever had the pleasure of working on was this poster for Rock En Seine. I jumped at the chance to create a poster for Tinariwen, my all-time favourite Desert Blues Revolutionaries.

Some WIP details from my watercolour painting 'Descent'.

Adventures in Coral. Lots of detail! This is for an image that I think I might turn into a print...

More WIP. This image is going to take me forever. I'm just reaching that point where I'm wondering if all the effort is going to be worthwhile. With my career I mean LOL 😭

Screenshot of a tiny section of this insane coral reef I'm drawing at the moment.

It's been a while, but I've done a fair bit of travelling about South East Asia. The place I keep returning to is Cambodia. Ever since reading about the temples of Angkor when I was a kid in a National

Some watercolor and indian ink paintings from a while back. The show was called 'Awful Symmetry' and was held above a local bar. While the show was well attended and people seemed to really like the work,

Early morning drawing with my son. He's only recently started wanting to draw with me, rather than getting me to draw things for him. I love watching him conjure things from his imagination. When I was

This is my very first Giclee print, produced for the Beinart Gallery in a limited run of 40. There are still some left and FYI they ship internationally! Some details: And the initial drawing for some

I've been painting these 'Strange Parades' for a while now, these are some of the more recent ones from my last show at The Beinart Gallery titled (funnily enough) 'Strange Parades'.
