Color Challenge Sunday purple (Entry No.2) - adapted Cyclop 85mm 1.2 lens

Taking technically pleasing 'normal' shots is somewhat mundane now that even a mobile phone can capture pretty amazing detail. So much so that you often can't tell if something was shot on mobile or a dslr when viewing online.

Here's one for the #colorchallenge, I've adapted one of my Cyclop 85mm 1.2 lens (m42 threads) onto the Sony A7r. It's an unwieldy experience at best as the lens is from a Russian night vision scope. You essentially have to move back and forth to find the very narrow focal plane... the dropoff is sudden and beautiful. Here I've managed to get some interesting sun flare/bokeh along w/ an infinite amount of dirt specs to add some grit to it.
