If we just want to have the rewards pool be a payment for investors to reward themselves, then why have a rewards pool to begin with? Why not just divert the entire rewards pool inflation into interest on holding SP?

Also, while I agree with the sentiment that we need a lot more marketing, I don’t believe marketing alone will bring us prosperity. What are we actually marketing? Why would it be attractive for investors or users to participate in? Personally, I don’t think we really have good answers to these questions. I believe there are some fundamental issues with the platform that are keeping users and investors away.
