I have visited Rome many times – it is my favourite place to be. If you ask me where I want to travel to, I will say Rome without thinking.
One of the bad things the covid pandemic did to us, was to deprive us from travelling. Instead, sometimes I think that work-work-work has substituted everything. Since work from home started, I couldn’t help but noticing that I work more! And I don’t enjoy simple things like a nice plate of food:
A nice walk:
A nice museum:
Or just wonder in my favourite city with no purpose at all, just to look at beauty. Because Rome is always beautiful. And always easy to walk around. The historic center is concentrated and there is no need to take any means of transportation.
Food? Amazing!
Shopping? Like nowhere else!
What is life if you take no pleasure from the simple things?
