Good day @travelcontest. Here is my entry for the contest:

The photo captures the festivities of Epiphany or Jordan Day in Bulgaria.
It is celebrated every year on January 6. On this day it is customary to throw a wooden cross into the icy waters of the river. Young men compete to see who can pull it out first. Here, you see the people dancing around the fire with their clothes still wet.
